Xiaohan grew up in Jilin Province, China. She studied physics at Beijing Normal University and completed her bachelor thesis in Professor Yan's polymer physics group. After that, she moved to Munich to continue her master's degree in applied physics-electrochemistry in Prof. Bandarenka’s group at TUM. She joined our group as a PhD student to explore iron complex catalysts. She works with DFT calculations, but also on combining electrochemistry and spectroscopy. In addition to research life, she enjoys baking and traveling.
