Anne grew up in the Eastern part of Germany. She worked for 4 years as a laboratory assistant in the hospital Dresden-Friedrichstadt. She studied food chemistry at the TU Dresden, working for Prof. Ludwig on the effect of proteases on crude protein in coffee to deliver flavour precursors. Since 2005 she is responsible for x-ray analysis of single crystals. In her spare time, she likes hiking and photographing nature.
